LIMEWASH

• Flat Substrate
  Limewash creates a soft, natural aesthetic with visible brush strokes. It can be layered to achieve different levels of opacity, allowing for beautiful tonal variation that enhances walls and ceilings.
• Masonry Substrate
  Limewash’s thin, translucent finish highlights the natural character of masonry surfaces, such as brick, block, or stone. It subtly accentuates the texture and shape of the material beneath, preserving its inherent beauty.

LIME SLURRY

• Flat Substrate
  Lime Slurry provides a thicker, more opaque finish compared to Limewash. It creates a refined, velvety texture that smooths minor imperfections on flat surfaces, offering a polished yet natural appearance.
• Masonry Substrate
  Lime Slurry adds a robust, cohesive layer to masonry, filling small gaps and irregularities while maintaining a breathable finish. Its slightly textured surface can enhance the visual depth of brick or stonework, offering a more unified and durable look.

LIMEWASH
There are many Limewash application techniques. The following are several common application brush strokes: 

• Feathered: This technique involves light, feathery strokes, often in random directions. It creates a soft, airy texture on the wall, emphasizing the layered, organic quality of limewash. This method is popular for achieving a natural, vintage look.
• Crosshatch: A popular technique in limewashing, the crisscross or "X" pattern is achieved by applying the brush in short, diagonal strokes that overlap. This technique adds a tactile, rustic texture and works well on both interior and exterior surfaces.
• Figure-Eight: Creating small, overlapping figure-eight motions with the brush results in an organic, hand-touched effect. This technique adds a unique, artisanal quality to the surface, perfect for walls where an organic, handcrafted finish is desired.
• Layering: Applying the first coat in a darker color and the second coat in a lighter color; each color layer adds variations in tone, adding depth and dimension to the wall.
  
  LIME SLURRY
  
• Relief (Full Coverage): This technique creates a uniform appearance by evenly applying Lime Slurry to fully cover the substrate. Subtle brush marks enhance the handmade feel, resulting in a soft Slurry Finish that gently softens the relief and silhouette of the surface.
  
• German Schmear (Partial Coverage): Using irregular strokes or smears, this technique applies Lime Slurry unevenly to create intentional variations in thickness and texture. Aiming for a rustic, aged aesthetic, it leaves parts of the underlying substrate, such as brick or stone, exposed, producing an organic, textured finish perfect for old-world charm or farmhouse-inspired designs.
