Texture
- Stone Finish: Smooth texture with fine aggregate—ideal for a more refined finish.
- Sand Finish: Coarser surface with visible, larger aggregate—adds visual depth and tactile interest.

Sand and Stone Finishes are available in our 55 standard Color Pallete or in Custom Colors.

Application Requirements Affecting Labor + Time
- Stone Finish: To acheive the most uniform, highest quality Stone Finish over natural building substrates, a base coat of Sand Finish is needed over the PHL Binder brown coat: 1/8" basecoat of Sand Plaster, 2-1/16" coats of Stone Plaster. A coat of Olive Oil Soap Sealer is optional.
