Custom Color

Using a selection of natural mineral pigments, our colorist can formulate Custom Colors based on Sherwin Williams paint colors. Each Custom Color includes a 6"x 6" Sample Board.

*Custom Colors are made-to-order and Samples may take up to 10 business days to ship.

3. Your sample will ship on or before 10 business days after purchase
4. View your Sample to see if it meets your design needs
5. When you’re ready to order Mineral Pigment Packs for your project, contact us for pricing and we will create a special order invoice and a checkout link to purchase.

How long does it take to make a Custom Color?
Custom Colors may take up to 10 business days to make.

Are Custom Colors an exact match?
Our colorist will take the time to make a Custom Color as close as possible, but it may not be an exact match.

Is it possible to get a Custom Color based on Benjamin Moore or another paint brand?
Unfortunately not. We use the Sherwin Williams color palette because they have consistent colors whereas other paint companies have obscure collections which make it difficult.

May I send a physical material sample like a tile for a custom match?
Sometimes. Please email support@earthausplaster.com to discuss.

Are you able to make any Sherwin Williams color?
With the limitations of natural mineral pigments, sometimes we are unable to make colors that are very bright, saturated, or unnatural looking.

How long does it take to get the Custom Color sample?
Samples are shipped on or before 10 business days after placing an order. Standard shipping is 3-5 days.

If I need a Custom Color quickly, can it be rushed?
The Custom Color process cannot be rushed unfortunately. Expedited shipping is an option at checkout.

Once a Custom Color recipe is made, may I order Mineral Pigment Packs with or instead of the Sample?
Yes, let us know in the notes area and we will follow up with you.

How much are Custom Color Mineral Pigment Packs?
The cost will depend on the quantity of pigment that the color requires. Only after a Custom Color recipe has been made will we know the cost.
