Earthaus Stone is a smooth plaster with an ideal balance of medium texture and subtle depth, making it the preferred Goldilocks finish for most interior designs. Substrate Preparation

Stone Finish can be applied over primed level-4 finished drywall or primed previously painted surfaces. Adding Primer Grit to the primer is recommended. Details can be found in the Stone Finish Application Guide.

Step 1

Primer + Earthaus Primer Grit

Prepare the substrate for a Stone Finish by applying a water-based PVA or latex primer with added Primer Grit

Step 2

Color: Mineral Pigment

Mineral pigment is first blended into water before the powdered plaster is mixed in.

Step 3

One Basecoat: Stone Plaster

A 1/32" base coat of Stone Plaster is applied over a primer + Primer Grit prepared substrate. 1/32" is the thickness of a credit card.
Step 4

One Finish Coat: Stone Plaster

A second 1/32" coat is applied “wet-on-wet” over the first coat before it dries. 1/32" is the thickness of a credit card.

One Coat Olive Oil Soap Sealer

Apply one coat of diluted Olive Oil Soap Sealer with a roller when the Stone Finish has dried completely
