Earthaus Marble is an ultra-smooth, polished finish with tonal variation similar to traditional Italian Venetian plaster. The darker the color, the more tonal variation appears with the polishing technique. Earthaus Marble transforms bathrooms, fireplaces, and accent walls with its pearlescent elegance and silky feel.

Substrate Preparation

Marble Finish can be applied over primed level-4 finished drywall or primed previously painted surfaces. Adding Primer Grit to the primer is recommended. Details can be found in the Marble Finish Application Guide.

Primer + Earthaus Primer Grit

Prepare the substrate for a Marble Finish by applying a water-based PVA or latex primer with added Primer Grit

Step 2

Color: Mineral Pigment Pack

Mineral pigment is first blended into water before the powdered plaster is mixed in.

Stone Plaster: One Base Coat

A 1/32" base coat of Stone Plaster is applied over the prepared substrate. 1/32" is the thickness of a credit card.

Marble Plaster: Two Finish Coats

Marble Finish is a two coat “wet-on-wet” application. Wet-on-wet means that the two coats are applied in succession and the coats should not dry between coats.

Step 5

Olive Oil Soap Sealer: One Coat

One coat of diluted Olive Oil Soap Sealer is applied with a roller after the Marble Finish has dried completely.
