Lime finishes naturally develop a patina over time—subtle shifts in tone, softening of color, and increased depth that enhance their character. Unlike synthetic coatings, lime doesn’t degrade; it matures. To minimize weathering and slow the patina process, apply our Breathable Sealer.

Application Requirements Affecting Labor and Time

• Lime Stucco Coarse Finish contains a larger, coarse-grade aggregate and is intended for a 1/4" application thickness. This formulation is more forgiving of irregularities and can be applied directly over rough-textured or minimally prepared base coats, reducing surface prep requirements.
• Lime Stucco Fine Finish is formulated with a fine-grade aggregate and is designed for a 1/8" finish coat. Due to its refined particle size, it necessitates application over a smooth, well-leveled base coat to ensure uniform coverage and optimal adhesion.
